SYNOPSIS
Forester Johann just wants to warn his ex-wife Sophia: the village is hostile, to say the least, to her "Body Farm," a forensic research facility in the adjacent forest. In the midsummer heat, the stench of decay from the corpses lying around there permeates the entire area.
But as soon as he arrives at the site, Johann realizes that the villagers are probably the least of his problems: a fast-growing slime mold has infested the corpses – and seemingly has the power to breathe new life into the dead. For Sophia, it's a chance for a scientific breakthrough; for Johann, it's the last thing he'd hoped for when he mets Sophia again...
